One Church is excited to be working with Baptists on Mission to bring Dental and Health Screening busses to Avon. They will be at the Avon Volunteer Fire Department located at 40159 Harbor Rd in Avon, NC on November 21 and 22, 2025. Appointments will be between the hours of 8:30am and 5pm on these days.
There is no cost to Hatteras Island Residents of all ages in need of care. Care will be provided by dentists, dental hygienist, dental assistants, nurses, and medical professionals who volunteer their time to provide servies.
Unfortunately, we have limited time, so appointments for dental services will be on a first come, first serve basis. Health Screenings will be done on a walk in basis. It is our hope that we will be able to have the buses come yearly to provide this much needed service.
We can take appointments online or by phone. Appoinments need to be made for Dental Care for fillings, extractions, or pain. Appointments made for Dental Cleaning will be for only cleanings. If you need both, please sign up for both Dental Care and Dental Cleaning (at separate times.) Once your appointment is made and confirmed, we ask that adults please show up 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment for check in and health screening at the Avon Fire Department.
