Born and raised in Durham, NC, Sharon has always had a love for music and people. In 2001, Sharon and KJ were married at Concord Baptist Church in Creedmoor, NC. They moved to Hendersonville not long after, where Sharon worked in the 911 center for Henderson County while KJ attended Bible College at Fruitland.
After KJ accepted a call to pastor in Jordan, Sharon learned much about ministry, and truly enjoyed leading women's ministry, leading worship, and learning about technology as it relates to ministry. While in Montana, Sharon also gained a passion for missions, and teaching the next generation about those around the world who have no access to biblical teaching. She became involved with Montana Southern Baptist Women (WMU), eventually serving as President and Executive Director.
Sharon is enjoying learning about island living and meeting the people who call Hatteras home. She also spends time homeschooling her boys and searching for shells. Sharon is currently acting as secretary for the church, helps lead worship, and runs the social media and web activities for One Church.
